A Honda battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your auto.It is also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its principal purpose will be to start the Honda engine.
The alternator supplies power for the car once the engine is operating.
Typically, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to release a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, along with the lifespan of the Honda battery can be reduced by a total discharge.
